Your new bus service is a joint initiative by the IW Council, Southern Vectis, and the Parish Councils of Wootton Bridge and Havenstreet and Ashey. There are similar schemes across the Island aimed at safeguarding important services that would otherwise have been lost due to budget cuts.

The drivers are all volunteers, who have kindly given up a few weeks ot their time to be trained bt Southern Vectis to gain a full passenger bus license. The buses are fully maintained and insured by Southern Vectis, and are available to our service in between being used for school transport in the mornings and evenings.

This route depends on its passengers for long term survival. There are no set fares but please donate what you can, as this will help us to sustain or expand the service. Sponsorship or advertising from local businesses along the route is also very welcome.

If you have any suggestions for improvements to the route or the service, please speak to the driver at one of the stopovers, or contact your local parish council office 5 Joannes Walk, Brannon Way, Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight. PO33 4NX. Tel: 01983 884555
