Robert Cooper - 1921

The funeral took place at the Parish Church on Friday 28 May. The Rector, the Rev. Coleman, conducted the service. In attendance were Robert George and Harry Cooper [sons], Misses Agnes and Adelaide Cooper [daughters], Mrs Jeffery [granddaughter] George Cheek and Walter Cooper [nephews], Mrs Glasspell, Mrs George Cheek, Miss Alma Cooper [niece] Mrs. J Kearley.1

The death took place on 24 June, last. She survived her husband by just a month. The deceased who was aged 86 was much respected with her husband celebrated their diamond wedding last year and curiously enough was buried on the anniversary event. The funeral to place at the Parish Church with the Rector, Rev. Coleman, officiating. The mourners were R & H Cooper [sons], Mrs H Lillywhite, Mrs Kennedy & Miss A Cooper [daughters], Mr H Cheek [brother], G Cooper [grandson], G Cheek & W Cooper [nephews], H Lillywhite [son-in-law].2

In both cases Mr W H Please carried out the arrangements.
