About Us
Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Towill, residents of Wootton, have graciously allowed us to scan a selection of their extensive collection of old Isle of Wight postcards of the Wootton to Ryde area of the island.
They believe that their collection should be available to all, so that people can appreciate the island as it once was. They have therefore chosen this historical web site as a medium through which they can share their collection with you.
Also included within this web site are separate sections displaying their island jars and glass bottles, which has been collected over many years and the history associated with them.
